SO today was my first day at Greenpeace. It was awesome. We had to petition in the streets of hipster-ridden Williamsburg where I was afraid to step in harms way when an uber hipster walked my way. Afraid those big ass sunglasses might blind my eyes with the reflection of the sun that was actually on the OTHER side of the street, I decided to approach people who might know more about the world than fashion. ANYWAY. I had to. Sorry. But Williamsburg hipsters are absolutely the most ridiculous human beings on earth. And god forbid you have your laces tied.
SO. It was good. We petitioned to help stop Kleenex from cutting down the most ancient forest in N.A. I didn't know forest was spelled with only one R.
Europe was sweet. I love my brother(s). For realz. We had an amazing time. I kick myself everyday for not bringing out the camera the last night in Paris...because there we actually MET people who accepted us even though we played with American flag cards.
Writing was so unbelievably cleansing. I had the closure I needed from the Black Forest. I had it. And it felt amazing to breathe in the freshes air in Germany and hear that amazing wind in the branches above my head. I can't explain what that "rauschen" does for me. It's inexplicable.
I booked my thanksgiving flight a week later than it really is. I always thought Thanksgiving (native american death day) was the last Thursday of November. But no, its the third Thursday. So I had to change it and now have no choice but to leave NY at 6am. SWEET!
I'll definitely see Justinis place and hopefully stay there a night or two....or three or four...
Weeds is on soon....goodnightnightnightnightnightnight.
