Drabble : The 100% Perfect Lover
Title: The 100% Perfect Lover

Once upon a time, there are two lonely boys who live an ordinary life just like all others. Both of them were born in the same year but with different month. The older one was born in May while the younger one was born in August.
They were young, innocence and live a life with no any high expectation. But they believed with their whole heart that somewhere in this world there lived the 100% perfect lover for them. Yes, they believe in a miracle. And that miracle did actually happen.
One day the two of them come upon each other on a corner of a street. Very simple and ordinary corners of a street which make their dream come true.
“This is amazing” The younger one said. “I’ve been looking for you all my life. You might don’t believe this, but you’re the 100% perfect lover for me”
“And you” The older one said to him. “are the 100% perfect lover for me, you’re exactly just like how I imagine you would be in detail. It’s like a dream”
They walked to the park, seated on the bench, holding each other hand tightly. They seated next to each other and tell their story hour after hour. They didn’t feel lonely anymore. Because they had found and be found by their 100% perfect other. What a really wonderful thing it is to find and be found by your 100% perfect lover.
It’s a miracle, a cosmic miracle.
As they sat and talked however, a tiny doubt creeps into their heart. Was it really all right for one’s dream to come true easily?
And so when come a momentary sullenness in their conversation, the older boy said to the younger one, “ Let’s test ourself, just this one. If we really the 100% perfect lovers for each other, then somewhere sometime we will meet again without fail. And when that happen we know that we are the 100% perfect one’s , we’ll marry there and then. What do you think?”
“Yes” he said, “That exactly what we should do”
So they parted, the older one to east and the younger one to west.
The test that they agree upon, was unnecessary. They should never undergo that test because they really and truly are the 100% perfect lovers for each other. And it was a miracle that they ever met. But it is impossible for them to know this, since they are young and naïve.
The fate sometime could be really cruel and heartless.
One winter both of them come down with terrible influenza, so terrible that almost took both of their life. After two weeks being hanging between life and death, both of them survive. But in return for that they had lost their memory. Their head was empty as a wash away shell on the shore.
But they were two bright, determined young people. Through their effort they were able to acquire once again the knowledge and the feeling to fill up their empty head. They had found their respective interest and continue to living on their ordinary life. Indeed, they even experienced love again, sometimes as much as 75% or even 85% love.
Time fly, and soon both of them turns twenty- two.
One beautiful April morning, in search for a cup of coffee to start the day the younger boy who’s now has become a very handsome and tall guy come across the older boy who's still posses the most adorable smile .
The younger boy was walking from west to east wearing a dark green chino’s, white t-shirt overtop with light blue cardigan, a long check pattern scarf hanging by his neck and kneel high black boot.
While the older boy who’s have a lovely face with dark brown’s hair was walking from east to west wearing a light yellow chino’s, white pattern t-shirt and brown vest which cover up by blue leather jacket and dark brown leather shoes.
They were walking along the same narrow street in Harajuku neighborhood of Tokyo. They past each other in the very center of the street in front of the small flower shop where they could smell the scent of rose in the air.
The faintest gleam of their lost memories glimmered for a brief second in their hearts. Each felt a rumbling in their chest and they knew:
He is the 100% perfect lover for me
He is the 100% perfect lover for me
But the glow of their memories was far too weak, and their thought no longer had the clarity of ten years earlier. Without a word, they passed each other, disappearing into the crowd.
Forever.

1) Okay let me be honest with you, this wasn't 100% my idea. I had read a really wonderful short stories and I couldn't help it to make it into YamaJima. So I was inspired by that story >,<
