(no subject)
Hallo all!
Well I am sporting a new hairdo, complete with bangs (actually, it's just the bangs that are new lol). It was quite the haircutting experience, let me tell you! After the hairdresser was through with my general bang-age, I had about 3 hairs to my bangs and my cowlick was sticking straight up in the air. I came home, was quite upset, and in my upset state, allowed my mum to fix my hair. She hauled out some scissors and a comb and went to town... and it turned out quite nice. I was rather impressed with my mum's haircutting ability. I know she cut my bangs when I was little, but that def. just consisted of her putting tape in a straight line across my forehead and then cutting.
The gang went out for sushi for Tom's birthday last night, and the sushi place we went to didn't really float my boat. It was ok, but I don't think it was worth the $75 it cost for 5 of us to eat there. We found out after (from assorted parents) that the owners of the restaurant are Korean, instead of Japanese, and that one of my mum's friends got food poisoning after eating there. Good times, lol. We booked it over to Baked Expecations and Amy Bort for dessert. By the way, I have discovered that I am a cheesecake fiend... which is surprising, as before this summer, I thought it was GROSS!
Anyways, I have to go and find The Catcher in the Rye... I was reading it before breakfast and have since lost it.
