Hah. I have had quite the poo day thus far! Well not so pooey... it just seems to be one of those days where you think "something like this would only happen to me..." After a few hours of half-assed studying for chem last night, I decided I would just go to bed and sleep in for a bit this morning, before doing a little more review before my exam, which I thought was this afternoon. I was sitting in my kitchen, happily eat my pancakes with syrup at like 10 this morning, and the phone rings. My caller ID says it's Glenlawn, and I am thinking what the heck, why is the school calling (the thought that went through my brain was "why are they calling? i haven't skipped!") Turns out, it was Ms. Kaur, calling to tell me that my Chem exam was currently in progress and that I was supposed to be there. I panicked, lol... Ms. Kaur just laughed and told me to get there as soon as I could. By the time I got there (I had to shower, etc. still) the exam was over and I had MISSED IT! I then had to write it all alone in the gym/Ms. Kaur's room.
It gets better though. When I got up this morning, I went to turn the radio on (upstairs... I was getting my breakfast ready) and my house alarm goes off - and I mean all the bells and whistles. I guess my brother thought I was gone and set the alarm when he left for school. I just about had a heart attack! I turned the alarm off, and then remembered that the alarm company would phone and ask for the password - which I couldn't remember! Sheesh. However, it came to me when the lady from the alarm company phoned.
I am wondering what else could possibly happen to me... hopefully nothing else! I would like to do some math studying and then get to bed at a decent time. I think the chem exam went pretty well... the only exam I am truly worried about it math... and I haven't studied yet, ha ha.
Anyways, I am going to go and study/sit outside in the sun. Should be a hoot.
Love Steph
PS - It was beautiful walking home from the bus. I can't wait for my last exam to be finished with!
