Would you rather lead or follow? Why? What role do you see yourself playing out over your life, leader or follower?
For a brief while during the time after Nashkel, before Baldur's Gate, I took command of the group my sister and I were adventuring with. I found making choices for the good of all the team - even if we were only six people - stressful and worrying.
When Narri took over I felt a great weight lifted from me. It allowed me to be the light-hearted girl I normally was once again.
This is not to say I haven't taken leadership since then but I do not feel comfortable in it, it is a role that brings constant attention to me and causes me to worry far too much.
I prefer a position where I am maybe second in command or better yet, an off-sider to the main group, where I have independence and can stand back and give opinions and laugh my ass off at the leader.
