to start with a new picture of melissa!
my mum and dad got back a week ago yesterday, they had a really good time. followed by a rather manic time. when they got up the day after they got home they discovered their boiler had broken down. nothing that my help could do, there was a problem with the transformer...it wouldnt turn into a car or smoething i assume!
the british gas man did say it was terminal at first though, if i havent told you lot before, if you know anyone who gets told by BG that they have to pay for a new boiler cos they cant make thiers work again...tell them they must get at least a second opinion!
British gas are the baine of my life, they lie. and if anyone replacing boilers overchrages its them. we can get supply and fit jobs done for under 2700 if its a standard job, british gas start at 4000. and they send letters out telling customers that becuse thier boiler is 6 years old it needs replacing.
i dont know if i would have a differant opinion of them if i worked at british gas, but i wouldnt trust them without an independant second opinion.
anyway once that was sorted they had to get a matress for kais new bed. i dont know why my brother left it to ask them to get it. seen as he was the one paying and its from him and everything. guess its the same reason that he hasnt fixed my car or sorted out my webcam like my rents asked him to do over 2 months ago!
they hvae now folown down to plymouth to get 6 months worth of cuddles from melissa. so sad that they wont see her very often but im still hopeful that they will move bad to yorkshire or the north east soon, once they get sorted out with money and my sister can get a good job up here. i can hope!
ive done rather well with my weight loss recently. ive lost about 7 LBS over 2 weeks or so. its not overly obvious, but my tops that fit normally are a little on the baggy side, and it think my trousers are a tiny bit looser aswell.
work is going well. all of the back office staff are moving from the newcastle office in jesmond to the watermark in gateshead in a couple of months, so everyone to do with warmfront is in one building. its a good move, but they arent to happy about it...except from hollie, cos well get to see her again, weve missed her alot since the complaints team stole her!
ive also been asked if id like to put my name down for switchboard. danielle is going to be stolen by complaints aswell so cant cover it anymore, so they need someone else and my name has been put down, id be working with hollies mam who is THE fittest gran i have ever seen! and also linda who is fab!
im really looking forward to christmas, ebonys been quite ill but seems to be over the worst of it now, shes just coughing, but she was well enough to demand things and boss me around yesterday so i think she is fine!
its going to be SO good, shes got loads of presents and its the first time she has understood santa and christmas time. ive not told her about jesus yet, i think ill be doing that next year when she should be able to understand alot more, esp as she will have been at nursery for a few months(scary!)
anyway idf better go and get dressed . im off work today and im going to go and do the shop before christmas, im not going shopping at the weekend or on my birthday or after ive been at work so my next chance would be the 24th...and it would just be stupid to try then!
