Letting Loose

Dancing around and letting loose,
Not caring who sees or what they say,
Is a new wonder,
One I can never let go of now.
I listen to my favorite songs on repeat
And still can't sing the words,
But the feeling is so freeing,
So comforting.
I am happy and energetic.
Nothing can hurt me.
Nothing can change how I feel right now.
Such a great feeling
It's hard to calm down,
To take life seriously,
To worry about even one thing.
The music flows through my veins
As if it's blood,
Supplying my body with
The necessities of life.
I don't want the freedom to end,
I don't want it to vanish.
It's everything good.
It's the meaning of life,
Of happiness.
