Sleeping Town

Oct 01, 2009 11:20

The darkness of the night
Swept over the sleeping town.
Life movement was almost non-existent,
Creating not a disturbance.
The children were tucked into bed,
Furry companions laying nearby.

Whispers of breath
Rose into the air.
All was quiet,
All was sound.

sleeping, poetry, fiction
