I got the job!
I got some exciting news today. Well, the vast majority of the sophomores who live on campus live in a building just for sophomores called Percopo (that's where I live now). There's a learning center in the basement and there are six upper classmen who live in Percopo who are there to work in the learning center and also answer questions when anyone stops by their room. I applied, and I'm going to be one of these tutors next year. I'll probably mostly help with engineering chemistry and organic chemistry.
I liked tutoring anyway when I did it, and as an added bonus, these tutors pay for a double room, but get a single. I'm SO happy to finally have my own room. It will be color coordinated and very clean and will make me very happy.
So I get paid for 12 hours a week for this.
Then I have my easy job in the chemistry office that I'll probably just do when I have an hour or two between classes in the middle of the day.
