so. here's the thing. i love the girl that wrote the comic that's currently my userpic. her pseudonym is natalie dee - and her comic is nataliedee.com. she's a trip and a half. her husband writes toothpastefordinner.com & together they do marriedtothesea.com. whatever. that was the shameless plug & i don't even know them. here's the point: that is their JOB. like, they make money. i mean, i see why, but is there a reason i cannot find a job that will pay my bills that i do not HATE? i think i wouldn't hate being famous for no reason - i mean, i know paris hilton's life is like, SO HARD right now, but come the fuck on. seriously. i am certainly not staking the claim that i'd be better at being "paris hilton" - clearly, i am too boring for such things. but if it were my job to act like a mindless lunatic, i might just make the sacrifice and knit a little less...
