I´m up since 40 hours because I´m in too much pain to sleep. But since I was sick to my stomach the last days I can´t take any pain killers because pain>vomiting for days in my book. Before I was sick I actually had the flue for 2 1/2 weeks (or maybe longer) with nearly everyday fever

sorry to hear you're sick, i guess its end of the semester for you as well. 2 yrs ago i was sick when passing exams too, all the time, thanks to a surgery i stupidly thought i'll fully recover from in 2 weeks. its been hell. i really hope you get better soon!

as for the girls rant, i kinda never thought this way, seems im a minority. first i went to japan with red hair. never thought about attractiveness back then. now more so, but thats only my inferiority complexes kicking back, i'll be fine in time.
for all i know one reason behind trying to look prettier once you move somewhere is to boost some extra points, extra confidence, doesnt have to be all that negative. to some degree its actually natural people wanna show the best in them. when they go to university, they change a bit too. its like, if you can change something seemlessly, like when you move from city to city or transfer schools or smt, then thats when you'll do it, before you meet new peeps.. but yea i guess its not what you had in mind.

but seriously, why would you even think of that? of them? shallow gals? useless, you wont kick any sense into them even if you tell them. they do live by the moment, as you noticed. its amazing me too that there still are girls whose most ambition is to get a guy. but i dont think theres a point wasting time on them.. you are right in what you wrote, let's stick to it :)

Yes it is too. The frustrating thing is this happens to me every year. I get sick in spring and by the end of the semester I´m only at the hospital getting operations done anymore. Being sick is so frsutrating because you can not control it at all. I guess you know what I´m talking about.

Yeah, it´s not what I meant but I get what you wanted to say totally.
I really understand wanting to feel pretty and showing yourself at the best. We all want that and I´m no exception. (Seriously I love fashion and all that vain stuff; I´m the last person to be against having those interests.) Especially when you move to a city like Tokyo where fashion, make up and hairstyles are much more lived and lived by a much larger crowd than in most places, you naturally start to get more interested in those topics.
But what bothers me is when it´s without any personality done.

Aww, thanks! I know I shouldn´t bother. I felt 70% of the girls around me start doing, looking, talking the same and it freaked me a bit out.
Or better said I shouldn´t have wrote anything in my sleepless, mindless state. Dumb me! XD;

somehow im lucky, i really have smart friends and am forgetting how insanely stupid or ignorant people can be. sic.

i knoooow... its irritating... its okay when people love fashion, but it works like, fashion is a way of expressing yourself, your inside can show by a good selection of clothes etc right. its sad if people wanna work it the other way, outside in. thats called posers, ay! like all these hipster hip-hop kiddos in shibuya hahaha xD they made me giggle plently of times, they show off so much... personality should influence clothes, not clothes and style admired to influence personality.. that'd be a very weak personality xD
