DAYTONA BEACH -- Authorities identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident as Andrew J. Maciog, 20, of Port Orange.
Maciog was wearing a helmet and was speeding on a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle when the accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said. Maciog was driving southbound at Williamson Boulevard just north of Madeline Avenue and hit the rear end of a pickup driven by Kyle Carvajal, 19, the FHP said.
Maciog died at the scene.
not only was he a close friend, he lived in my neighborhood and was one of the sweetest guys i have ever met.
