HAPPY 2010!

As the title goes, its a new year again!! Byebye to the festive mood of december and hello january, a fresh start and a new beginning. I have several considerations about the new year.

1. Should i stop my habit of writing diaries and stick to online journaling? Maybe. But somehow posting stuff online always feel very non personal, because the web is free to all. AND I GOT SUCH A PRETTY NEW DIARY FOR MY XMAS PRESENT IT'LL BE SUCH A WASTE!

Okay, actually i only have one HAHA. The rest are more of resolutions.. Its likely i'll break them sometime ( i predict, very shortly) into the year but thats no harm making them anyway!

1. Be REALLY nice and appreciate everybody. However i am entitled to glare at people who really deserves it. Not the random commuter on trains though.

2. Stop acting like some CAL who keeps trying to find fault with people. Of course, it includes doing away with all kinds of profanities and crude language/signs even though they are often jokes.

3. ALWAYS BE FORWARD LOOKING :D Seriously idk why is this my third point, because its my most important resolution of the year. Okay, maybe as important as the first and the fourth(coming up next!). I am really going to forget all the stuff that makes me unhappy, and stop brooding over the happy memories that had already passed and would never return. I am coming to acccept that june was a passing phrase that could never return.. And i really think i can do it this time. I am sure of myself! (:

4. EAT LESS SO I CAN LOSE 10KG BY APR NEXT YEAR. HAHAHAHA. I MUST! Think nice clothes and looking nice, cmon cmon.

5. Work hard, earn loads of money and buy people presents! And buy all the stuff i want too, hahahaha. Study hard when i get into uni. I really really hope i can get into uni!! Slacking off was totally not worth it, see what it came down to the end? NOTHING!

I think that should be all. 5 resolutions... Not to difficult to keep is it?
2009 had been a rather interesting year, it really took me by storm. Many things that happened had a huge impact on me, whether it was good or not. I'll never forget how i felt on the first day of school when i sat there during maths tutorial, how i felt when i failed to get through syf auditions, how i felt during those after school trips to eat before cca/or to dota, how i felt when i stepped down from choir with college day perf as our swansong, how i felt during june holidays-how much it meant to me (stupid!), how i felt when i flunked one major exam after another, how i was in tremendous despair right before the a's, and how traumatising that night before chem paper 3 was- flopping around, drifiting between subconsciouness and nightmares and the lightheaded daze i was during the paper itself, how i felt on my birthday which was my second last paper, how i felt when alevels ended, how i felt the first time i stayed over after prom, how horrible i felt, all hungover and depressed when i went home the next day and spammed koi bubble tea, how i felt during xmas bbq, and eventually, how i felt counting down to the new year. It closed 2009, and to me, its the closure of a really meaningful and unforgettable chapter of my life. My jc life, its really something that i wouldnt trade for anything else in the world. Sometimes i'll wonder whether i would have done better in my first choice, sajc, but then again i realised that there isnt anything that i need to change. It has happened, and im happy it did. And that is enough for me.

2010 would be another interesting year ahead, and i'll try to remember to cherish every moment of it as much as possible. I realised that often im always caught up with reminiscing about the events of the past that i neglect the present. And this year, i'm not going to do that anymore. Because i know that when it comes 31/12/2010, i'll be able to gladly countdown to the next year, knowing that ive done all i could, and made the best out of the year 2010.

(:
Smile always. The two words that had been with me since sec1, and would always be for the many years to come. Probably a lifetime.
