Day 6 complete... yah! We are basically one week into the program. Tomorrow is rest day which means no exercise at all. I'm a bit sad about it actually because I was looking forward to sculpting but Tony knows what he is doing!
On a much sadder note, Dave and I were extremely bad last night. We went to visit some friends in the city they live in and stayed overnight there. I brought my wine thinking I would have a few glasses, but before I knew it a few had turned into all of my wine, AND I ended up drinking the kings cup which had beer in it. NOT.GOOD. We did stick to our diet completely other than that. We ate some popcorn at 2am which was bad because you arent supposed to eat 3 hours before you go to bed, but at least we at popcorn and not anything else. We needed something to absorb the alcohol, otherwise, we would both be a sad mess right now. I was this morning anyway. We tried to follow the diet as much as possible, but it is hard when you don't have a place to cook and you need to eat out. So for lunch/supper, we got a sandwich. Then we just had more snacks because that about did us in calorie wise. I actually ended up gaining a pound from what I had lost over it. Which sucks. It could just be water weight. I am committed to the diet still, and I wont be doing any huge amounts of drinking for a while.
Next weekend Dave and I are taking a trip to Thailand. We are going to stay in Bangkok for one night and then go to a resort on a cliff overlooking the beach. It is really beautiful. I hope we can continue to maintain our diet there, but if we go a bit over I wont feel terrible because this is our time to be together an relax. It is our first vacation together, even if it is a mini vacation, and i refuse to feel bad about it. I do want results though, so i'll try as much as is possible.
Cardio today was hard because we were hung over sorry sacks of shit. But, we did it anyway. There isn't the thought in our brain not to do it, we just complain about having to, which is good. I really enjoy the exercise routine for cardio. There is a lot of fun and challenging stuff. Power yoga is the craziest. First, you have to do a plank, which is just basically if you were starting a pushup. Then you move down and instead of coming back up into the second push up you do an upward dog which is making the top half of your body straight while the bottom in on the floor. From that we go into downward dog, then extend our legs outward to a runners pose and then do a cresent. If you don't do yoga, you probably don't know much about this, but one thing to know is that aside from doing upward dog and when you go from runners pose to crescent, you are holding your entire body up pretty much on your hands alone and the tips of your toes. Basically, it is like a terrible ten minute long pushup. I'm getting better at it, but it is super hard. Ab ripper was good but I still cant do one of the exercises. It is because my bottom half weighs more than the top so when I try to do the exercise, my bottom half pulls my top half up and out of the move. I continue to work on it.
At the end of week one not too much had changed measurments wise. I checked and everything is about the same- arms, legs, wasit although chest and hips are down about 2 inches each. Bye Bye Boobies. :(
This week....dun dun dun... our weight loss is:
Gill-3 pounds ( it was 4, but then last night put it back up)
Dave an amazing 6 pounds! ( It was 7, but again last night)
Wow, I think this really works :)
Thats all for now folks!
