Day 3 was back to sculpting again. There are only 3 videos for the first 44 days ( Sculpting 1 and 2, Sweat 1 and 2 and Ab Ripper.) Tomorrow, we will be back to cardio again.
I did see some improvement from day 1 which was pretty shocking because it has only been 3 days since I started this. Already, I was able to do more pushups than before. During Sculpt 1 and 2 ( and im going to assume 3 and 4 also) you need to do 7-7-7's. This is 7 wide pushups, 7 close pushups and 7 standard pushups. I got through the 1st 7 okay. The second 7 was a ridiculous challenge. I never realized how hard it would be to do 7 close pushups. Basically, not easy at all. So, I did about 3 of those. I don't remember how many I did before I stopped and almost died. And I did 5 of the standard. 15 out of 21 isn't too bad for day 3. Go me! I am a bit dissapointed that I couldn't do them all, but this just goes to show me how out of shape I really am. It was some sad sad stuff.
I did feel a ridiculous burn during one of the weight exercises which was great. Whatever part I am working on there is going to be sore tomorrow. My arms are sore typing now, so I can only imagine how cardio is going to be. I never realized I could sweat sooo much during a workout. It also didn't help that my dog was constantly in the way bugging me all the time.
I'm still trying to quit smoking, but it is so hard. I also don't want to strain my body by working out so vigorously, but I am so motivated to do the workouts and eat correctly for whatever reason. I don't come home flop down and think, maybe i'll do those later. Once Dave gets home we put in the DVD right away and start doing the workout ASAP. I need to quit as soon as I can. I'll keep working on that.
Today, I wasn't sure if we were eating enough calories, so I checked all our food and found out that we are in the correct range, so no problems there. I'm glad we are sticking to the diet and finding things we like. I know it is only Day 3, but if we don't stick to it now we never will, so it is good that we are both motivated to do this. It definetaly helps having a partner, i like having someone to go through it with.
I have to work all night tonight and I am not happy about it. i have been having such great sleeps these past few nights and found getting up in the mornings so much easier. But, tomorrow i'm going to go buy us multivitamins ( it took a lot of research about what vitamins and where to find them in Taipei), going to get yoga mats for Ab Ripper, and going to pay some bills and book our trip to Thailand maybe. Yay!
I don't have much else to report. Had a great supper, and I found Jello, granola bars, museli and no fat mayo at the supermarket which was really exciting for me.
On a really awesome end note, most people who do Power 90 and P90X don't have air conditioners in their houses in every room. This makes exercise sooo much nicer. Seriously, it rocks.
