I found the most adorable purse today!! I got it at the indie craft fair they have every month about 3 miles from my house. Last month I bought this neat steampunk ring that maybe I'll take a picture of later. For now, here are some pics of the purse!

here is a close up of the fabric

the lining

here's crackers checking it out

I can't tell if she approves or disapproves

I can't wait to wear it out somewhere!

The craft fair was just icing on an already perfect weekend. Matt and I stayed in on friday. I made some dinner and we watched Superbad for the hundreth time. So funny. Yesterday we went exploring! We drove through areas of the city we hadn't been to yet. We found this funny sign at Discovery park

hehe, oops. After that we went and ate some mexican food. Well, the closest to mexican food you can get in this city. Afterwards we went to a cd store and decided to buy a cd that neither one of us had ever heard of. We just had to judge by the cover art and titles of the songs. We ended up with a cd by a band called Foreign Born. Verdict: not very good. Hopefully one day we will discover some good music by doing this! On the way home we came upon one of those ghetto carnivals in the parking lot of a strip mall. We stopped and I played the basketball game, almost making a basket to win a ginormous, hideous stuffed animal. Next Matt tried to knock over some milkjugs but failed, tremendously! I then convinced him to ride on this really fast swirly ride, kinda like an octopus, but much faster. I could tell he didn't really want to, but he did. The second it started going faster he was like "I really don't like this" I thought for sure he was going to lose his dinner. I grabbed some cotton candy and we left. Came home and watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. That movie is always funny. Earlier that morning while Matt was sleeping I edited my number in his phone to come up as "The Devil" while we were watching the movie I secretly called him. It was freakin hilarious! He just sat there looking at it. I asked him who it was and he was like, "uhhhh, I'm not sure..." It was so hard not to laugh, after a few minutes of looking through his phone I couldn't hold it in anymore. So funny. I can't take credit for the idea though, I read about it in the new Cosmo, some guys pranked their drunk friend with it.

I ended the weekend this afternoon with a much needed trip to the gym. Ran 3.5 miles, did the elliptical for 40 minutes and the bike for 10 minutes. Came home and now I'm waiting on Matt to decide what we're doing for dinner. Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!
