Rant & Tunes

Because I so need to write in this thing more, though I'm feeling an itch for a name change again. I'm odd like that. Anyways the newest thing in my life is the government taking all of Kyle's money from his account and us not knowing if they will be able to 'unfreeze' his account in time for rent to get paid. Great, swell, happy birthday Bonnie guess your evicted.

Though I'm sure it won't come to that it's one of those oh gravy stories where your like things are going to pot and the gravy being this. Then again we knew things wouldn't be perfect when I quit Starbucks but I'm glad I did. They are now forcing my manager out as well as some other employees that are amazing in order to not have to pay them severance packages when they reach their 5th year. Lots of Shadiness...Boo on you Sbux, boo on you!

On a happier not C has blessed me the letter N to bring to you my five songs. Incase you don't know how this works you are given a letter by a friend and must come up with 5 songs beginning with that letter and why you like them. I'm not sure if a link to the song is required, but I chose to link to youtubes so here goes. If you want a letter let me know :)

1. Neighbors (acoustic version) - Academy Is First off William Beckett is my snuffleupagus, I'm destined never to be where his prettiness is and that's just really sad :( This song makes me dance around it's hooky, pop'y and catchy. In this version I love Siski being well....Siski. Fave line in the song "Intoxicated circulation just try and sit back, get my palette wet. Getting mentally prepared for the consequences and you know why"

2. Never Tear Us Apart - INXS
Loved Loved Loved this man's voice when he was alive, first 'rockstar' who died that I cried over. On top of that this song was always my head sway song that song that you'd stare at nothing and everything all at once and just sway about.

3. Nobody Knows - P!NK Some have their Britney crush, their Jessica's, Christina's whoever for me it's always been P!nk. I adore her soulful voice when she does Joplin it's just goosebumpy. This song in particular is my winter song. I suffer from S.A.D and some reason this song speaks to me about that because normally I'm bubbly and outgoing but come winter I break down and feel isolated inside myself. Especially the line "the road to darkness has a way of always knowing my name"

4. New York I love you (but you're bringing me down) - LCD Soundsystem. A band new to my repertoire, this song first caught my attention on an episode of Gossip Girl. I like it's melodic peacefulness of it and the way it turns kinda weezerish and heavier midway through. Reminds me of a bright eyes song lyrically.

5. Nobody's Fool - Cinderella No self respecting hair metal enthusiast of the late 80's early 90's could refute the fact that this song was the break up anthem. You broke up you played this at full volume on repeat in your bedroom and forced the tears to come. Heck even if your parents yelled at you, same thing on goes this song and you went emo before emo was popularized. PS I also wanted to star as one of the twins in their videos..lmao

Honorable mentions. Take That's Never Forget it has a Great message from a Great band. Also Hedley's Never Too Late for redoing the Rio Duran Duran video and giving us a fun vacation song!
