custom neighborhood not showing up.
OK, I got a hold of copies of the EPs I was missing and re-installed them. Loaded up the game and no neighborhoods was shown, just the 'add a neighborhood' button. Off to Google, found some solutions, tried them all. I did manage to get the pre-made neighborhoods to show back up, but none of the custom neighborhoods from my back-up files will show up no matter what I try.
I've tried:
-deleted all neighborhoods
-deleted 'the sims 2' folder in the 'my documents' file
-removed all custom content.
-create a dummy neighborhood with same neighborhood number and copied the back-up version over it.
- deleted the cache files
-re-install CEP
Nothing works, custom neighborhoods still won't show in the menu screen. They do appear in Sim PE. Any ideals? As a last resort, I may extract all the sims and put them in a clean neighborhood, but we all know what a pain the the butt that can be.
