The radio ripped open my soul
I got in my car this morning, and it was like a movie. As soon as my car started, a song started, right from the beginning, and the radio ripped open my soul. I heard a song that I have not heard at all for at least a year, and I haven't heard on the radio in much, much longer. It was a song that means a lot to me and reminds me of someone I just recently re-connected with. It was then followed by another song that was from that person's favorite band. It felt llike the radio was playing out my thoughts and feelings for me. I almost called the station to find out why they had decided to play the songs they did. It was that disconcerting.
