I want to be a sociolinguist when I grow up.
I just finished reading the most amazing article about literacy. I was underlining sentences left and right, I even put the words "fucking great" in the margins. Now all I have to do is write a five page response to what I thought and how this one paper is a reflection of my entire semester in linguistics. hmmmm?
This moment I am missing my obsession with photography, reading books having to do with my cultural identity, sleeping in, feeling skinny, baking cookies and having deep conversations while smoking cigaretts and drinking coffee.
In other news I constructed a Christmas tree for my betta. I plan on putting the tree in place when I clean out his fish bowl tomorrow.
