David Eddings
Eddings was the second phantasy-author I was made acquaint with. now, after more than 10 years I still love to read his books. I love his Elenium, I love his Belgarion, his Riva, his Tamuli, his work with his wife Leigh... (Althalus, Children of Gods,...). Eddings always has such a big love in his books. he likes to tell about love, friendship and inartificial feelings. I hold every single book that was translated into german. and I am waiting for the last part of his Children of God - cycle.
Elfquest
I started reading EQ when I was about 5 (~1983). from the first beginning the story and the figure-drawing impressed me very much. we nearly own everything from the "old" cyclus and the old bastei-books. carlsen made a reprint with other numeration, but I like the old bastei-ones more. EQ has a big an great community (http://elfquest-welt.de) in germany and all over the world. some online-holts were started to have the feeling of EQ on your own. there are still some holts to find in the w w w.
some things always changes, but the fascination of EQ will never change
Wölfe
wolves... I am not that kind of girl who loves wolves. I like them, because they are so chummy with the elves of Elfquest. I like to collect pictures of fluffy wolves and I love pictures of wolf-puppys. so cuddly and cute and fluffy and sweet. if I see a wolve I am really impressed by their gracefulness and their wild freedom.
