How are things going?
Your dad is actually interviewing at Stanford University because the dept received his resume from someone who interviewed him a couple of months ago. It was a preliminary interview which I think they liked him. Apparently it's not official that they fired his boss but if it is your dad will try to be the one to replace her instead of them looking outside for that. It sounds like your dad will be looking again.
Your dad's barbershop quartet came in 13th place out of 20 and they are disappointed in the result. They competed in San Jose I think. They are coming home today.
Nicholas has been in a few fights in soccer and some of the parents are mad at us. I hadn't been paying attention at during soccer because I was talking to the other parents so now I have to stop because I can't converse and watch Nicholas at the same time. He plays too rough. He also got into a fight in gymnastics.
Ben is sending out resumes.
David is doing well.
Kathy called me to say I have a good chance of getting an interview at her work place so I'm crossing my fingers on that. Work is o.k. I actually like it when we get work done early so I can come home and sleep sooner. I sleep more that way. Maybe the daylight is making it harder for me to sleep or the hormones who knows. It had been a bad week of averaging three an half hour of sleep per day. With the two days off I got to catch up on my loss sleep.
Grandpa scheduled a surgery to correct his back, shoulder and neck after the party. At his age any surgery is especially dangerous so we all hoping for the best. Anyways he will be in a lot of pain when we see him. His spine has been shrinking and that is why he has started hunching in the last five years.
