a very sad mom e-mail
So, this mom e-mail is interesting 'cause the part about my dad is HILARIOUS (notice the adorable grammatical errors) but the paragraph about Nicholas is sad. POOR THING!
Oh, and the subject line: Housing
Hello,
I mailed out the check for next year's housing so it should get there around the first of Feb.
YMCA in Reseda has requested your dad's quartet and for that they will be getting a free meal. Another Barbershop Chorus has invited his quartet to perform the same night. I'm a little concern that they may try to talk the quartet into joining the group. It would mean that he would be in two Barbershops. The two guys in the quartet already belongs to this Chorus as well as the other.
David has been acting suspiciously of late. He has been spending a lot of time over at Nick's house. I mean more then he usually spends with him. They do share a few classes but they don't study together. We think maybe he's dating and he doesn't want us to know.
Nicholas likes karate and gymnastics. There are two boys from school who sometimes hit him but only him. He says he has hit back but I have never seen him do that, the few times that I have seen him get punched. Either he hits so softly that they can ignore it or he doesn't do it right. Well, we don't encourage him to hit back but when enough is enough and when he finally does lose his temper what can I say. We want him prepared.
Ben interviewed in San Francisco for a job. He thinks he did well.
We are getting estimates on the doorway so it may be another few months before we do it. The cabinets are moving slowly but I am getting it done a little at a time.
How are your classes going? What is the choir like since Kelly has come back? Is it fun anymore?
