Just got back from the orthopedic surgeon after having re-injured my knee on Saturday.
The good news is that I probably don't need ACL reconstructive surgery right now. The bad news is that I probably need arthroscopic knee surgery right now. But I'll take a one-week recovery over a one- to two-year recovery any day of the week. I am not complaining.
Although I didn't tear any more of my ACLe, I may have torn some of the cartilage in my knee that acts as a shock absorber (lateral meniscus). Once that is removed, I should be fine.
We'll see what the MRI bears out.
