In spite of ............

In spite of the fact that I was running a high fever....

In spite of the fact that I had crappy seats (I only bought the 2nd most expensive tickets coz el' cheapo me was trying to save money for all the other shows I'm watching in the next 2 months).....

In spite of the fact that I only knew 30% of the songs (and half of the songs I didn't have the slightest inkling of what they were singing since it was in Hokkien).....

In spite of the fact that I had to stand for over 3 hours (coz everyone else was standing).....

I had a great time at the Ma*yday concert

The music was infectious

The atmosphere was super high

The people around me were literally jumping up and down

I wanted to too

But tho' the spirit was willing

But alas................... the flesh (or rather the bones) was weak

i did sway tho'

And did 3 jumps :D

When the people behind me said that they wanted to hold hands to sing along

I wanted to go behind and hold their hands too *wide grin*

Hummed I did to the melody of songs I could not understand

*Good Grief*

And I even did the hand signals for the L O V E - ing song

*Faints*

I am glad that I didn't faint from the standing

I am glad that I can sleep in on Sunday

My old bones need the rest.
