a rare personal entry

Oct 23, 2007 22:55

looking at the soft toys flooding my room, my letter-writing student stated the following two random observations:
1. i must like pigs very much
2. i must like the colour pink very much

strangely enough, i don't like pigs very much. nor do i like the colour pink very much too.

BUT i seem to be always receiving pink pigs. hmmmmm

hence i decided to give this issue some deep, intense thought.

after cracking my brain over it for, ermmmmm, about 3 seconds, this is my conclusion:

ping=pink=pig

so voila, there you have it! a simple matter of word association and people who have stamps covering their eyes.

just thinking of my brilliant technique for deriving my answer made me extremely happy.

so to satisfy the people who complained that my blog is extremely impersonal, i have decided to introduce  you (dear readers of my very impersonal blog) to some of the characters who inhibit my room, thereby adding some personal touch to this impersonal blog.

please feel honoured!

let's start with my favorite character in the room, my beloved looppy!

looppy was originally nicknamed floppy but due to a typing glitch, was changed to loppy and now looppy (cz looppy looks better than loppy and loppy looks better than floppy).

looppy sits in a quiet corner on top of my printer, NEAR YOURS TRULY.

i've always thought that looppy was a pink pig till today when i finally took the stamps off my eyes and realised that looppy is a PINK RAT!!!! yucks, now why did i buy myself a pink RAT!

but it's ok, i still love looppy even though he is not a pig.

in fact, i love looppy even more now because he is not a pig.

next, let me introduce you to looppy's minions.

see what i mean about people thinking that i like pink pigs?!!!!

looppy's minions are not as lucky as looppy to sit next to me. they are, unfortunately, thrown all over the room, to be touched and mishandled by the hoard of people coming in and out of my room every day.

well, looppy's minions, sadly, life is not fair! remember this lesson and remember it well.

but it's ok, looppy's minions. i still love you minions too.

thank you, people who gave me looppy's minions. i truly treasure them even though i am ping and not a pink pig.

to end this rare, long personal entry, let me test you, dear readers of my blog, whether you have fully understood and digested this personal entry by asking you 2 questions:
1. what is looppy's gender?
2. who do i love more? looppy or his minions?

good night, dear readers of my very impersonal blog.
