Hmmm. Spain Shmain. I only have one month between finishing uni here and going to Spain, meaning I have to squeeze in my parents somehow and yet can't see my friends in Germany for an other year. It will be the 8th without seeing them.
Spain isn't exactly practical... but I love the language/ movies/ temperamental culture and most importantly... the fiestas!
I've honestly never been that interested in Spain, but I doubt you share my intense wanting to go to Germany since, well, you've obviously been there!
I'm curious as to how you've still got friends that you haven't see for that long. Especially considering how very, very young you were when you got here. I'd've lost all of mine by now.
Erm, and my brain's asleep. I can't seem to answer two questions in the same comment.
Della's fantastic. She's getting used to me being home with her, and of course being a bit of a snot because of it, but she's adorable and precious and is so amusing with her wee sense of style. She practically refuses to wear anything that's not pink ("or purple!" she says), keeps wanting to dye her hair pink, and is just the cutest thing strutting about in her winter clothes. She's adorable in summer, but she's just the cutest in winter. I love it. :)

Hey, I am HERE. I made it, unbelievable. 2 months and I know about 4 words. I am a KING!
My apartment manager just got a little baby boy. I am terribly excited to see the little one wrapped up like a Hanuka present.
Friends in Germany are actually now wandering out to Switzerland and one girl is doing a little holiday in Mexico. Wow :) I am pretty happy hear and I like being geographically a little closer to my friends, although I still don't see them. I wander if I'd be lonely without my boy here. Class mates are offering full program, but it is the first time I actually get to come home to someone nice. It's kinda special.
Glad you and your little one are doing good. Sure you are making a great team. How old is she now by the way?
Spain does sound lovely, but I don't know for sure. What's turned you off it?
