RELATIONSHIP MEME HIJACK

Euphie and Mulan.

I am so lazy, I'm not switching journals.

Mulan thinks Euphie is the cat's meow. I think she thinks everyone should be like Euphie, in her sweet, honest approach to everything. She encouraged Mulan when she was in panic attack mode (and I don't think I told you enough that it was THE SWEETEST FREAKING THING EVER) and has just been exceedingly pleasant since then. And I think that's it: pleasant. Pleasant to be around and to talk to, and just generally a genial person. Mulan thought it was kind of funny that Euphie assumed Sokka wanted to be in the hole, but in a nice way.

Overall, Mulan wants to work toward pleasing Euphie and seeing her happy, because she brings a lot of joy to others.

I want to ask the same thing in response, so I shall. Euphie on Mulan?

There's a huge extent to which Mulan's unease in her own skin reminds Euphie very firmly of herself, and she hopes to help Mulan overcome this the same way she managed to: by realizing that there are people who rely on her and only her, and who don't want her to change.

And then Mulan is just a nice person, which Euphie likes. She doesn't get the trauma surrounded by non-crossdressing and isn't entirely sure about how much she should pry (I've also decided that Kannon babysat Euphie and Nunnally when they were little and played dress-up with them, so Euphie's thoughts on crossdressing have nothing to do with "girl dressed as boy is strange?" and more to do with "but why are you so unhappy about it? D:"). She really wants Mulan to meet Cornelia, who Euphie thinks is an awesome paradigm of asskicking in lipstick, so.

What surprises/surprised Mulan most about camp?

Definitely how chill people are. Clearly she comes from a place with strict standards and consequences for going against them. So everyone here's like "oh, dude, we're not judging you" she's like WHAT IS GOING ON. It makes her uncomfortable, sort of, because now the paradigm has shifted and her rules don't apply to anything anymore. Well, the rules she broke. She broke a lot of rules. But those rules don't even exist anymore, so how does that define her?

Anyway. Yeah. People being nice.

Okay but really, we have a post idea, so I can't tell you.

Other than that, I think he'd like to see her trip and fall, and then laugh at how ninja she is. PROBABLY HE WANTS EVERYONE TO SEE HER FOR WHAT SHE IS. Which is not really a thief so much as someone who makes him look bad. He wants everyone to know that whatever reflects poorly on him is really her fault, but he doesn't care as much about what she does to other people. Unless it crosses the line.

NOT OF THE TOP OF HER OR MY HEAD. She doesn't do a whole lot of planning in advance, unless it has to do with materia. For run-of-the-mill pissing people off, she just does it when it seems like a good idea. And she doesn't really do it to be mean, she just does it for the reaction, so she probably won't try anything else until he's been lulled into a false sense of she's-forgotten-about-him security.
