... AND THEN WE've GRADUATED! (Well, some of us...)
I just love having conversations that go a little somethin' like this:
"Well, mom and dad, thanks for all that you have provided for me in my nearly eighteen years of life, but...I still need college tuition for four years (plus a little bit of gradschool), books, paint supplies, new brakes, spring clothing, some lunch money, sixty dollars with which to fix an unmentionable mistake, a birthday present for my brother, a cell phone, a raincoat, new cleats, rainbows, a laptop, and a haircut... so I guess that the immeasurable amount of fiscal dependency I have placed apon you with my conception is not quite over. But I love you. Anyway... See you Monday night, I'm going to Meredith's."
"Oh? We don't think so... you will be back tonight on account of your amassed debt to us. You can do what you want when you're eighteen. Oh, and get a job."
