McCoy Stadium has it all I tell ya!
I went to McCoy Stadium this afternoon right after work (seriously I had no time to sign on and check email) and went to the PawSox game with saxy_clarinet, blinding_voip horsecrazyliza and mary_19. Also met mcmazzeo too. They won but nearly sucked balls. Yeah, Javier Lopez is in now way ready to be awesome for Boston....ever. However, after seeing the douchebaggery of little kids that the bullpen has to endure, I don't blame them. I started off just kinda going around nomadically until I saw a familiar face. My cousin was there with her boy friend and her boyfriend's family. I was surprised. I spent a couple innings talking to them, then headed back over and was going to go steal a seat but the ticket lady was kinda lurking so I wandered off again and talked to my cousin a little more before finding a nice spot right by the bullpens. And there I endured douchebag kids who wouldn't stop harrassing poor Randor Bierd and TJ Large. And they just kept yelling out "HEY 41!!!" and so on. I kept making faces behind the kids like "God they're such douchebags". I was able to have my spot a nice inning or so after the douchebaggery, namely just checking out the game and then being amused by random ongoings in the bullpen. I probably could've gotten a ball if I had made some sort of effort (I could totally rock the puppy dog eyes) but I'm sure they had enough of that crap. The douchebag kids took over so I went back over to Amanda and Pam. Liza and Mary had found some seats along that section so I joined them and basically chilled there till the 8th. I left around then because I wanted to beat traffic (Totally Dodgers style there! But if you've ever driven to Pawtucket, you understand completely it's hell to navigate through that city). All in all a fun night at the ballpark.
I bought a PawSox shirt (it's really badass looking and the fabric is awesome) which I will take a picture of or something like that. And now I need to unwind and try to beat the fucking trunkle boss I'm having issues with so I can move on in the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga game and then conk out. I gotta still work tomorrow 9-3. Oh well. As for the Red Sox tonight, they won and holy crap they had offense! LaRoche homered and Papi homered as well. Lester was good and Bard hit 100mph. The Yankees FINALLY lost too.
