Dammit I now have TWO things to talk about. One is an exciting personal achievement well...could be if I keep up the workage I'm doing and one is a baseball-related retirement. I think I'll go with the personal ish first...
So anyways I just got back with my advisory meeting and I found out, if I get an internship in the summer and I pass all my classes this and next semester, I will be graduating in January!!! I'm pretty souped for this, despite the fact that employment these days sucks big floppy donkey dick. The fact is I'm graduating!
*Kirby Victory Dance*. I am aware it took long enough, but hey, I've basically gotten there so there's that. Now here's to this adn next semester being good. And added bonus -- I know 2 people graduating with me for sure!
As for the other rather marginal, but only because of the circumstances of above, Curt Schilling has announced his retirement. I'm just gonna say this -- Schilling is a self-important douchebag who sure as hell hasn't won himself a lot of popularity contests with his opinion and his inability to keep his damn mouth shut. That being said, he was a hell of a pitcher and I'll always remember and be grateful for him for 2004. That doesn't change the fact that he's a douchebag, but hey I've got some friends who are douchebags. Doesn't mean they're bad people, they're just douchebags. I mean, I can be a tool sometimes but it doesn't mean I'm a bad person. I just have toolish tendencies. :P
So anyways that's all I got right now.
