Of St Patricks Day, Fandom Recockulousness, and....well that's all
Hey everybody, Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm spending the entire day within the realm of my house...not going to go outside today. I'm no taking the chance, man. There's an Irish Pub mere minutes from my house. Not taking any chances. Though most people got the celebrating out of their system over the weekend (I had my Corned Beef on Sunday), there's still many who are out there. I dunno I'm not too huge on St. Patrick's Day even though I'm Irish. But I think it's because I'm not a huge drinker. Mehh that's the way it rolls.
Fandoms of all sorts are ridiculous. People take this shit way too seriously. Yes I was once like this before 2004 with the Red Sox, but then I realized I was being a tool and also the Red Sox won it all so that helped calm me down. But really, this shit is not serious business. Anybody who says so clearly need to take a step away from whatever it is they're doing and find a life of some sort. I meanthat nicely. :P I just don't get the whole thing. I go on little rants time and time again about what I think are stupid things within my fandoms, but that doesn't mean I will be all vehemently against it because I don't like it. No way. Let people be into what they want to be into. No need to get all bent out of shape over it.
ETA: As in outside, I mean going out in my car to do stuff...of course I'm gonna go outside and all...it's a nice day out anyway
