The Morning After....
I'm still not completely used to this whole "sleeping in on Saturday" business which is why I'm up right now. It's just so strange. I am working 12-4 today though so good thing I'm up for that. You all feeling good this morning? :P Also good news is that I have like almost three pages worth of champagne footage! :) Oh and it's just fabulous to see. Sometime later today, when I'm home from work, I'll basically make a whole post about how proud I am about this team and how they have proven us all wrong time and time again. But right now, I gotta probably start getting ready for work. Also, I think that this one is on par with 2003 as the most batshit insane celebrations of clinching(only clinching playoff spots)
Anyways today's game is Wakey vs Carlos Silva. They could still win for best record in baseball, but that's up to them if they wanna do that. Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if they lost tonight mostly because I think they've all got some epic hangovers well except for Manny, Drew, and Hansack(who were all deemed MIA which I'm guessing they had already gotten home and then they realized WTF happened...I kinda feel bad but if the Red Sox can keep the awesome flowing they can join the other ones). There'll be a B-lineup tonight most likely and all the regular guys who'll play will probably get lifted for the youngins. Ahhh games that don't matter are sometimes so much fun. Maybe someone should get a walkoff so they can get all celebratory and shit for teh guys who hadn't been apart of it last night. *shrugs shoulders*
So if any of you guys decide to wanna watch NL baseball instead of the Red Sox, I fully do not blame you. I'll likely be out with friends for their last sight of any shred of sanity from me until the end of October. But I'll keep in tabs with the NL baseball goodness. Also I may hafta play designated driver tonight for my sister and her friend who my mom calls "her Puerto Rican daughter" so yeah I'll have that going for me too. Oh and for awesome on my little world, WBZ4 was awesome enough to show Lowell and Cora hugging! So brownie points for them.
