Today was a long day for a Tuesday
Yeah I was busy all freaking day. I had to go run some errands with my mom, I had a psychologist appointment in Westerly, and went down to Galilee to pick up some mussels. I love living by the ocean because we can have fresh seafood from the docks any time we want. And believe you me, we take advantage of that. So yeah that's where I've been all day. I'm happy to hear that Manny is back and it's about time. This is a good thing.
So the last six games of the season are taking place from now until Sunday afternoon. The Red Sox have a 2 game series against the A's with Schilling and Gaudin taking the hill for each team. The trickiness of these games is to stay competitive in the game while resting the starters bit by bit. Putting the pedal to the metal isn't a smart move especially since they have clinched a spot in the playoffs and a team that's half past dead usually isn't the best way of doing things. Just ask the Minnesota Twins in 2006. They won the division and were like surging all through the end of the season and all but come playoffs they just like fell flat on their face. Though Oakland was pretty hot of a team during that time. So they just gotta keep their ground and win but also be smart. It's a tricky ground, but I think they can do it. I mean why not?
