I only heard this in passing on EEI
I was flipping through the radio riding in the car with my friend. I left it on EEI for a few which is Mike Adams, who is only good in small increments. However, he dropped an interesting nugget of information that he had heard from a Red Sox insider in the clubhouse. Basically an unnamed player, I think. Is it true or not? Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised.
You know how Joba threw at Youks right? Well, according to the insider dude, he threw at Youks because A-Rod told him to. Yes, you heard it here. A-Rod told Joba to throw at Youks. In the top of the 9th inning. Though upon further review, the sitaution and all, it does kind of have A-Rod's fingerprints all over it. Of course I never really thought he'd resort to that shit...but he did.
I think this also shows one more thing: A-Rod cannot join this team next season. No way in hell this team will take that sitting down.
Next series should be interesting, to say the least
