A sleepy postgame report
Okay a quick postgame wrapup before I go to sleep. Red Sox come back from being 3-0 down to win 4-3 in 10 innings. The main offense star is Jason Varitek who hit a 2-run shot and hit the game tying double. Mike Lowell had a pinch hit sacrifice fly for the win. Meanwhile, you also have to give propers to the pitching for the Red Sox, most def. Tavarez did one helluva job pitching, as per usual going 6 innings and giving up only 3 runs. Then you had Donnelly, Okajima and Papelbon shutting down the Snakes. Papel looked pretty rusty, but the velocity was there most def. He'll be fine, no worries on him.
Oh and Julian Tavarez got a bunt single....I shit you not. I just have to laugh at that. Big time. I mean....it's basically classic Tavarez...like he took the bat and he like...it wasn't even really a bunt he just like stuck it out there and it bounced. It was weird.
