A Little Bit Of Everything: Winning, Offense, Great Pitching, Drama
Nice fucking game today. Weaver sucked out loud and the Red Sox jumped all over him. Everybody except for Pedroia who started had a hit. Beckett was amazing giving up only 2 hits and 1 earned run. JD Drew hit a HR and is making me wanna like him but I'm trying to relent. A lot. This was just a nice opener at Fenway Park which ended in a 14-1 victory. Fannnntastic! Now if only they can give that run support to Wakefield.
As for the drama, Donnelly and Guillen brought up some bad blood into their new teams after Guillen K'd Donnelly. Apparently, Donnelly was suspended for pine tar on his glove and Guillen was the one who ratted him out to Frank Robinson(Washington's manager) and soon relayed it to the umpire. So there's some drama there. Donnelly is pretty badassed and seems batshit insane enough to enjoy watching pitch. Oh and I dig the glasses a lot :) So yeah that was the most interesting part of the day. I love brawls.
