Closer candidate Joel Pineiro has quite the twisted sense of humor, as evidenced by the mix he had playing in the weight room, much to the initial consternation and then cheesy delight of his teammates, a few of whom eventually started to sing along. There was a steady stream of Air Supply (Making Love out of Nothing at All), Wham (I forgot to write this one down, but rest assured it was terrible), Foreigner (I Want to Know what Love Is) and the unquestioned crowd favorite, Berlin (Take My Breath Away). Because who hasn’t seen Top Gun and wished they were Maverick? Anyway, it wasn’t exactly the prototypical weight room playlist, which usually features AC/DC and Satan metal.
Personally, I just would've loved to have seen everybody sing along to "Take My Breath Away" and I PRAY that Pineiro makes that his entrance music. That'd be just fucking hilarious. For some reason I see Mike Lowell REALLY getting into it.
