Red Sox and Stuff
Just some snippets and newsage involving the Red Sox. Papelbon and Wakefield both looking sharp in this Red Sox vs Metskies game(it's on the radio and on the TV). The bus driver for the Red Sox got lost on their way to Jupiter, much to the chagrin of Tito.
"It took us 3:45 to get there from Fort Myers," said the frustrated manager after the bus wheeled into Jupiter at 11:23. "We were going through [expletive] Lion Country. Some [expletive] bus driver didn't know where he was going."
God I love Tito.Just thinking of him spouting off like that is cracking me up. Also there's a nice little article in the Globe on Gabe Kapler about his managing of the Greenville Drive. I'm sure that
xliveandletdiex would appresh it....though she could've seen it already. Also apparently Daisuke threw the epic gyroball to a couple Marlins hitters. So maybe he's just not saying anything about it so he can sprinkle in it every so often. I wanna see that pitch dammit!
