Ex Red Sox Fest 2006
Playoff time....wheeee. My Expository Writing class was canceled, so I basically stayed up till 1am for nothing(I spent like a half hour revamping my paper). That's fine by me. It gives me an hour and a half to grub on some luncheries. I got some Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Gatorade. Lunch of Champions! Also, this saddens me. Now I more likely than not separate the player on the field from the player off the field, unless if shit like this comes up. I hope Gabe Kapler beats the shit out of him. Basically he could've saved himself and his marriage, but his wife drops the charges. *facepalm* oyyyy
Also, isn't PITCHING what wins the playoffs? Then why are people saying the Yankees are gonna win because of their awesome offense? I mean if you use other reasons like "Dude, its' Rivera. Best postseason ERA evar" or "The rotation is still pretty good, ya know" I'd be like "Okay legit argument" but this whole "ZOMG OFFENSE" puts me off. I mean...it's pitching that wins this shit, guys. PITCHING.
Anyways Tigers vs Yanks going on right now. Mussina vs Verlander. Verlander has no postseason experience and his age may doom him, but at hte same time, Mussina is thrown off his groove. Because of last night's rainout, Mussina is off his groove so that may cause a bitchfest. It should be intersting any which way.
Boomer goes for the Padres today against the Cards. I'm going for the Padres to make it cuz the Cards don't really deserve it. Later tonight is Dodgers/Mets. I'm in the Mets camp because Grady Little gives me hives. Go Metskies goooo! :D
