That was a well needed lazy ass win. Sometimes you need these kind of wins to get through. It took two seasons, but finally, FINALLY Mouthbreather gets his first MLB win EVAR! Congrats to Mouthbreather and may he have many more to that tune...just quit the mouthbreathing...it's creepy. Lowell lived up to his nickname "Mr. Double", Tek did the impossible in his terms--hit a grand slam, and most of all, they won and the pitching looked pretty solid. After Lenny's first inning he was very good for the most part. Quite encouraging, I just think he needs to like warm up a little more or at least maybe have like Timlin start the game up or something for the first inning then bring in Lenny. It'd be like a relief appearance but in the beginning. :P Yeah I'm lame I know.
It has been brought to my attention courtesy of _squeee who just so happened to tape last night's game, that the player Josh Beckett kissed on the cheek was in fact Jason Varitek. And with my imagination that runs too wild sometimes, and the performance of Tek today(aka the grannie) I have come to the conclusion that Josh Beckett should kiss the rest of the players on Monday to see what happens on Tuesday. Why? Because why not? :P Yes I know I'm bored and it's random but this is my brain, swear to god. :P
Now I should probably go and prepare for the drive up which is tomorrow...my last one this semester :( Maybe evar if housing doens't come my way. :( But yeah regardless, tra la la and la te dah.
