Yeah I'm still pissed about last night. That was frustrating and annoying and made me wanna commit homicide on somebody. I'm still mad at a lot of the team, and I don't think I'm gonna be on speaking terms with Varitek or Loretta for a while. That being said, I do kinda like that the Red Sox aren't liek going belly up vs the Jays, who fucking annoy the shit outta them. But then again that's just the offense and Timlin and (suprisingly) Tavarez talking. Though I think Papel did get jobbed in that strike call, the fucking old fashioned rookie squeeze job. Rarr. So Papel got a loss and an earned run. It was to happen eventually, just get it out of the way and focus on tonight, right? Oh and it didn't help that the PawSox lost in 11 innings after getting a run, then losing on a walkoff when Bumatay gave up 2 runs. Rarrr....Sternie went 1-6 with a run scored.
Anyways, the Red Sox end their 2-game set w/ the Jays tonight w/ Towers going up against Clement. You know somebody should lay Tito some ground rules on the rotation. Most importantly: TRY UNDER ALMOST ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TO NOT PITCH CLEMENT VS THE BLUE JAYS. Also I am starting to think if Alex Cora shoudl start at shortstop. Of course this is the girl whose got a strange attachment to Cora. I know
bluegreen17 would agree with me, she's a big Cora fan too. I dunno I'd like to see him give it a whirl and see what happens. I like A-Gonz(I mean I LOVE the glove) but I mean why not give Cora a tryout there just to see what happens? His glove is pretty decent, SS is his natural position, and borrowing a Peter Gammons phrase, a fucking SMART ballplayer. He is a smart player, he does a lot of little things and knows how to play the game. Oh god I'm gonan shut up now cuz I sound like a tard. But I do like Cora....I think it's the ears. Expect a high scoring game tonight from at least one side. Hopefully both with Boston coming out on top.
