That was a pretty good game, I must say. Thank god the losing streak was snapped, is all I gotta say on tonight. :) The Red Sox won 6-3 but it wasn't too pretty. Papi had himself a homer, and Keith Foulke saved Matt Clement's ass big time. You know, I think Foulke might just be back. Of course you had Papel closing it out, at first worrying us and wondering if the mohawk was bad mojo, but in the end it all worked out :) Hooray! It's raining like crazygonuts here. Boourns to that! We're not Seattle! Lowell had himself 2 RBIs today, Loretta had a nice hit, as did Youks. It was a pretty good game, though Clement more and more reminds me of my brother because of the way he lets everything get to him and spazzes out, though he shows it more by pitching and less by flipping out and overdramaticzing everything. Also I wanna shoot Gregg Zaun in the face w/ an arrow.
Sternie Watch today...well um...he didn't fare too well. He went 0-4 but he was able to draw a nice walk, so yay on that. He was the only one on the PawSox who failed to get a hit. Poor dude. Oh well. The season is still young :) Here's to Sternie possibly getting called up in due time. Speaking of the Canadian Jewish possibly nonsexual babydaddy, I just found out today they have Adam Stern shirts at the store at Fenway...this makes me unreasonably giddy....and this is the ongoing fight inside my head between "RATIONAL FAN MEL" and "Silly Ass Fangirl Mel"
