I apologize for my lack of proper posting -- I have spent a great deal of time in the hospital as of late with Taichi. I really, really hate hospitals. He seems to be recuperating as well as can be expected, which is all for the better. I've officially moved in the last of my belongings into Taichi's -- well, our, I suppose, domicile. I ended my current lease as well. I'm glad to be settled again.
It seems as though an American friend of Taichi (and Tatum's) will be joining us for at least some time. His name is Steve Oldham, and he seems quite nice. I am a little nervous -- my English is terrible, and he doesn't seem to know any Japanese at all. Without Taichi-san present, our communication is more than slightly limited. Additionally, he speaks very quickly. I suppose he's nervous.
I guess that we shall truly see if the old idiom of practice-makes-perfect holds any truth in the case of our ability to speak. We'll have to.
Perhaps in living here, also, I will see more of our friends, which would be nice. I know that Takeru-kun stays within the area; I should probably look him up an afternoon and see how he's doing. I wish I could just keep better track of things, honestly.
Even so, I've got to go now, but I promise to update more frequently.
