[Caesar's still not quite sure why he asked Zevran to go out drinking with him again, but he didn't have very many drinking buddies here. There was something obviously on his mind, however, and he wasn't going to tell Zevran the details. What he wanted to do was forget about it for a bit around someone he trusted enough for this.
Even if he would be hit on along the way eventually, he'd at least arrive home in one piece.]
[Caesar puts down his beer back onto the bar and nods. He's not completely hosed yet, but he's gotten to the point where there's a light buzz and he can relax. He's still coherent, too.]
[Zevran was raised to be more careful of these things. A drunk assassin was a sloppy one. And a sloppy assassin was a dead one.]
[But he was watching the other man with great interest, waiting to see what would happen next.]

[He says it casually, lifting his glass to examine the contents. He doesn't expect a detailed answer. Just a confirmation of what he suspects.]

Yes. Things... back home.
[He's not going to elaborate more.]

[He rests his chin in his hand, and regards the alcohol skeptically. Then shakes his head.]
You are drinking the wrong thing, if that is the case.

[He doesn't intent to get absolutely drunk. Not yet.]

[This is nothing Antivan Brandy can't fix, clearly.]

Is that brandy?

[The other being himself.]

... If I accept, will you make sure I make it home in one piece?
[He'd be linefacing so hard if he knew you'd joke about that...]

There is no reason for me to wish you harm, my friend. I will be certain to tend to your every need.

Preferably with my clothes on, Zevran.

I said I would only do as you desired, my friend. Nothing more. And, if that is what you wish, then so be it.

Did anyone tell you that you're a smooth talker?
[He goes to get two glasses for brandy, but since Zevran's the designated walker, Caesar doesn't expect him to drink much.]
