So today was moderately boring, but I think I am going to start with yesterday considering I didn’t get around to posting then.

The first thing we did yesterday is grab breakfast and jump into the car. We stopped at Subway to get some food. I personally am not a big Subway fan, I know that it is healthy but it tends not to be super filling and because I can’t get any meat, my selection of choices are extremely limited. Winter on the other hand is OBSESSED and pretty much chants “Subway, subway, subway,” Any time we mention the fact that we need a place to eat. This time Winter got her wish and we all sat down for a nice meal at Subway.

Soon we were back on the road. It took a while to get to Minneapolis but it was squeal inducing when we did. The first thing we went to was MCAD (Minnesota College of Art and Design) to get the keys to our dorm and so forth. Sadly the people we needed to talk to were not there. So waited for about an hour until we were able to make our way to the room.

It turns out that isn’t really a dorm “room” but more like a dorm “apartment”. I got my own room after long discussion and conflicting preferences of room situation. One of the biggest problems though was that there was no WiFi in the hotel. The only things that got Internet was an Ethernet cord in my room. And if that wasn’t bad enough my computer does not have the ability to receive Ethernet signals so we had a dilemma on our hands.

Luckily there was quite a few Apple Stores in the area and the school had informed us it was okay if we bought an AirPort and sold it back to them when we were done. Unluckily the directions that we had gotten to the Apple Store were so misleading that we had to turn around when we realized that they had closed. We were able to go to Mall of America and pick it up from the Apple Store there.

Then it was off to dinner. We got to go to Daddy and my favorite restaurant. It is called Noodles and Company and it is awesome. It has the three most wanted things in a restaurant: very good food, quick service (2-3 minutes from ordering to getting), and insanely cheap prices (Dad and I eat for 6 dollars combined). After that we went across the parking lot to the wonderful Ben and Jerry’s. We all got some tasty ice cream and went over to “Hollywood Video” to rent a movie (in California I have been looking all over for a Hollywood video, but it is not until we go to Minnesota that we actually find one, go figure).

We rented the movie, “Bring It On,” which was a cheerleader movie that Daddy liked so he had us see it. I enjoyed it and laughed for a long time about the fact that the season villains for both 3 and 5 were on the same cheerleading squad. Clare Kramer the actress who plays Glory was one of the cheerleaders and Eliza Dushku who plays Faith was the supporting lead. So yes the fan girly side of me was defiantly brought out (come to think of it I never DON’T show the fan girly side of me).

That was probably all of the important details of yesterday and considering it is so *bleep*-ing late here I should really give a kind of short summary of today.

After waking up insanely late, we went to a nice bagel place where I got a bagel mitt thingy with cheese and eggs as well as a blueberry muffin. We sat down to eat and once we were all finished we headed off to a super market called “Lunds” there we bought a whole lot of groceries and were on our way back home (okay not really “home” but it feels like home, really everything in Minneapolis feels like home).

Once home I did about 6 hours worth of fairly mundane things until it was time for dinner. At dinner Winter got a kids meal with a comic inside of it. The comic was hysterical. I will hopefully post it tomorrow. Daddy is planning on incorporating it into his class. As for food wise I got a veggie pizza and got an ice cream and cookie thing for dessert. The dessert we got for free but that is a whole other story that I am way to tired to tell.

After we got back home or possibly before we left to get food, I heard something out side. I thought that it was fireworks but Winter said that Daddy had told her it was thunder. I looked out the window and informed her that thunder doesn’t tend to be different colors in circular formations in the sky. So yup this has been the second fireworks display in the period of three day. WTF?

Best quote of the day:
Daddy: Is that Pirates (staring at the TV on one of the walls in the restaurant and trying to get Mom’s attention)
Mommy does not pay attention.
Daddy: Is that Josh Charles?
Mommy instantly turns around to look in the direction that he is looking.
