Obsessed much?
I am dead tired. I woke up at 8 am. Tried to pee, wash my hands, brush my teeth, brush my hair and put on clothes all at the same time without tripping or dripping toothpaste on my shirt or in my hair. Then I packed my lunch and tried to get to work by 8:30. It didn't happen. Why did I over sleep you ask? Well let me recap the weekend for you.
Friday night, I played literati till 1:30 in the morning, and refused to sleep till 3 am because I wanted to finish Long Vacation and couldn't bear to stop at any episode where there was Sena/Minami angst. Well, that meant I had to finish the series so I could feel happily warm and fuzzy.
Saturday, I woke up at 9 am beacuse I had to pee ridiculously bad. This must have been the only time I have ever ignored the urge to pee and then ended up waking up thinking I had pissed my pants. I had to bolt out of bed and make a mad dash for the toilet. Also the only time I ever wished I had a benpan or was wearing Depends. I met some friends for karaoke and dinner in the afternoon. God I hate karaoke places that don't enforce the no smoking rules. It smelt so bad... but leave it to me to not care. I was so into crooning Swear it Again and screaming Since U Been Gone that it didn't bother me too much. Leave it to me to be that self absorbed. After karaoke, we went to Benihana for dinner. I ordered yakisoba and was absolutely insistent and obsessed about it. Why yakisoba? The only reason I ordered it is because of a scene in Long Vacation where KimuTaku is trying to make dinner and you guessed it, he was making yakisoba. What do you know, the yakisoba turned out great. It was yum. A couple at our table whispered that they should have ordered that. Hah. I felt so happy and satisfied. It was just yakisoba I saw from a jdorama. I am very strange indeed. Why was I so happy about it?
Sunday. I spent all day watching Gokusen. I love it. My new temp fav series and obsession. See icon. Shin/Yankumi loveeeee. But temp because Long Vacation will hold the #1 spot forever in my heart. Anyway, at 10 pm I take a break for Grey's Anatomy (Die Mc Douchebag DIE), and afterwards I decide against better judgement that I want to finish the series. So I stay up till 2 am. Sleepy time right? Nope. I decide that even though I don't consider Matsumoto Jun (the guy who plays Sawada Shin) a hottie or even all that attractive, I am strangely drawn to him. He plays the brooding thug with a heart of gold quite well. So of course I just had to google him to make sure he's not jailbait. He's not. Younger than me, but only by a year.
Why does it even matter? Hah. Seriously. Sometimes I scare myself.
