wow...i really liked that one...it felt so...visual. Everything seemed to fit the mood. It sort of made me wish to see this in the form of a graphic novel, but then, if that were the case, I wouldn't be able to experience the imagery and descriptions, especially the way you lingered over certain parts.

hahaha actually, i HATE angsty, but even though it was angsty, it was the good kind of angst =) the kind where you feel hopeful for the girls in the end, hahah so i forgive you ^^

There was one line of the dialogue that felt a bit out of place to me, it was when fany said:
"Our conversation that night consisted of the past, our days in college. We reminisced heavily, and I felt my heart break for the second time in one day"
not to say fany has no vocab, but it felt more like something that would have been said during narration, and not in dialogue. But really, that's just a matter of my own preference.

but really i enjoyed every single aspect of it, from the pacing down to doormat yul ^^
you kind of get the feeling, okay, maybe fany's right when she says she doesn't deserve Yul, but Yul wants you and dammit! Yul deserves what Yul wants! =)

oh and bad fany for smoking! your throat is gonna get worse!

It's Slangsty! :D I'd like to say why there are sluttish aspects to this... but I feel if I reveal them here, there might be a few angered or confused people LOL. (Em, you better know wth I'm talkin' about.)

Haha... I've talked to you about Tiff's vocabulary but since this was AU, I figured to let it slide in Em's piece. Plus, I get this sort of "sophisticated" Tiffany image when I picture her smoking, in a bar, with a quiet Yuri.

____
You already know what I think Em :p Haha and glad you liked the title suggestion. Though, I think my OTHER suggestion (GIRLS GONE WILD!) would have been just as appropriate.

haha dude! that word is copyright! ten cents per use!

though i do have to agree, the title works quite well...despite the fact that i do not condone smoking...only soshi getting it on XD

LOL! Dude, if we charged for Jessbian and Seobaby, you know how many SSFers owe us money?!

When I suggested Ashes it had a deeper meaning than just cigarettes. ...And now I'm totally blankin on what that was. Maybe Em still has it XD

I think I know what you're talking about, bb. We have to keep our many conspiracies to ourselves, anyway. Most people would not understand the osm awesome that is our mind connection.

Right! I was going for the sophisticated image, not some chain-smoking crack head image. (And I can't say, "OMG KIDS DON'T SMOKE" because that makes me a huge ass hypocrite.) Also, you guys should stop hatin' on stupid!Fany. Seriously. Even sluts can be good with words! I am!

Maria... NO.

TRUFAX! =O

I found my macros over there without credit. =X We need to start putting labels on shit, or at least doing something to get credit.

I do remember, bb. The original title was something stupid like "College-Girl Experimentation" because I was focusing on Jeny's past relationship, but Maria suggested "Ashes" because of the way a cigarette's ashes fall apart, similar to YulTi's situation. Not to mention, in the last part where Tiffany was smoking and they fell on her robe, she stained her hands gray.

It's entirely interpretive, really. I understand that no one sees things the same way that everyone else does. But, no, I could never see the girls smoking. EVER. This will probably be the only time it's used.

You have an account on Soshified?! Haha I always thought livejournal writers were too cool for that, I guess they just use different usernames -shrugs-.

First let me compliment you on beautifully written story. I really loved that you decided to pull a bit of YulTiSic love triangle with this one. Yuri's character is <3. I still can't picture Tiffany smoking but I understand why it was used. The only issue I had with this was kind of the time transitions, I was kind of lost, how long did Tiffany stay when she visited LA, have Jessica and Tiffany always been in contact for Tiffany to be able to find Jessica that easily, and things like what was the meaning behind the one-way ticket, did she expect to find Jessica and stay but then was disappointed and had to come home to Yuri. It's just a very unique relationship between YulTi though. Even though Ti said at the end she thinks she's in love with Yuri, I still ... felt like it was just meaningless words. :) Anyways I really enjoy this and think you should totally do more YulTi works!

Oh, hey, Soy! =D Yes, I do, but I never seem to put it to good use. Most of my stories are a bit too mature for the boards, so... yeah. ^^;

I thank you for the compliment, as it is much appreciated. To explain the time transitions... I myself don't even know how long she stayed, but I want to say a week or two. At least long enough for her to somewhat get over Jessica and realize that they weren't going to be the way she wanted them to be. But, yes, she did have these intentions that she would be able to stay, not really thinking ahead. In her mind, she was thinking all about Jessica, and the wake-up call she received when she got there was quite rude.

You could say that they were somewhat in contact over the years. Tiffany left before Jessica got married, not wanting to see her best friend leave their relationship unlabeled, so I'd say she didn't really get the closure she needed until she went back. As for her tracking Jessica down, it was easy since Jessica was where she had left her (and met her, if you read where Tiffany says they ate at a restaurant they frequented while in college).

I apologize for the confusion. Dx But, really, it's all up for the readers to interpret, and this explanation is merely my interpretation. I hope it helped...

Those ending words, though... They do feel rather empty, don't they? I think it would be easy to think she's only making herself love Yuri because Jessica told her to do so. Who really knows, though...

As if the list wasn't long enough, lol.

The part where Tiffany talks about "the dating world" is her return to Korea (though, I still don't have a time set for this), but she's avoiding Yuri since she has been back. At the chance meeting at the restaurant, it's kind of like Tiffany is also reminded of Yuri and her existence, possibly remembering how she can easily play with Yuri OR that she actually does have feelings for Yuri that begin to resurface.

Haha ok .. well Soshified has pretty pictures, I guess :) (haha I kind of want to see a directory of some of the LJ usernames and their matching Soshified usernames to see how different their postings are, haha I know how restricted, Soshified is)

Haha it's a beautiful piece regardless. I've actually read some of your older stuff in the past (hahaha but never replied, I just had to reply to this one though, it's the effect of YulTi, really). I guess .... Tiffany will always be a mystery, whether in fanfics or in real life, that girl ... surprises me all the time :)

Soshified has pretty pictures and more, really. There are definitely quite a few restrictions, but it's understandable as to why. Then again, when I was a kid, this was the kind of stuff I wanted read, haha. And, I'm sure there are some people younger than me reading my works, but I think they are mature enough to handle it.

Again, thank you. I could have sworn I saw you comment somewhere else on another story, but wasn't sure. That and someone else mentioned that you suggested my work to them...? Anyway, I would love to hear more from you, so don't be shy and comment whenever you like! =)

I really enjoyed writing the YulTi pairing, and in a different kind of way. It's usually (totally awesome) smut or light-hearted cuteness, so I felt some angst would be an interesting change. But, yes, Tiffany is such a mystery to the masses, but it's more fun to leave her that way. We love her regardless. =D

LOL, your comments are so long, bb. <3

I think this is probably the most visual piece I've ever written. When it comes to angst, I have an idea for it to be this way, so you could say this is my interpretation of angst-filled writing, haha. I'm glad that, although you seem to have a disliking towards angst, this did the job for you. (I don't think you're biased, so this helps.)

I agree that the way Tiffany speaks throughout this whole fanfic is out of character, really. Thankfully, and to pull it up for my defense, this is completely AU. My idea of Fany in an alternate way is to make her this sort of sophisticated bitch who likes and deserves attention. (My idea of a Leo, you could say.) It's definitely a dramatic act, no doubt. And, like I said in the A/N, there's Breakfast at Tiffany's influence, hence the smoking, drinking, and "I can't love anyone," references.

I have to agree on that note: Yuri wants you Tiffany, open your eyes! I can take Jessica just as much as Yoona or Yuri!
