Although we are only 30 k from town, you sort of know you're not really in the city when you get up in the morning and look out the bedroom window to see the local girls walking their dogs via horseback. It's very rustic. I suppose considering I have a chicken tractor and several vegetable plots on the front lawn I shouldnt be surprised.

And speaking of getting up this morning...
... walking into the bathroom to see a rather large spider in the corner of the room, thankfully above the mirror and not over the shower. I couldnt do much but grab my toothbrush and hair brush and try to have a shower with one eye always on him. He was one of those really fat bodied things, hairy, probably some type of Huntsman. I think he has been inside a few weeks as last time I saw a spider like this it was walking up the arm of my chair which was terrifying enough. Anyway, the bugger FELL OFF THE WALL - yes the biggest worst case scenario for any arachnaphobe! Having him mobile and even closer made me terrified of getting out of the shower, but I did and dried myself in record time, escaping with the essentials needed to get ready for work. I just had to try to trap this thing whilst it was lower than me, so I took a pyrex dish back into the room thinking I could manage it, only to find the awful thing perched on the towel rail. Nothing would make me try to catch him on such an uneven surface so close to me. I left him, went to work and will now be terrified he might be crawling around the towels or in the laundry hampers.

But on a brighter note, one more sleep till shut down.
