I'm finally ready to bring the Tolbert's back! This time, I've recreated our beloved founder, Nellie Tolbert in the Sims 4.
Re-meet our founder, Nellie Tolbert! She's still as adorable and doe eyed as ever.
Her traits include: Genius, Good, Geek, and Quick Learner. She has the Computer Whiz Knowledge Aspiration.
Here's a throwback to Nellie in the Sims 3 for a quick comparison.
I immediately sent her to the park to do some fishing because we are hella broke. Like, hella hella.
Then she did some digging. Again, because we're broke. P.S. Look at those heart tights! EA is steppin' up their game, yo.
Apparently mutton chops are a thing in this game. Stop it.
I'm so happy there are frogs in this game. Frogs are the cutest.
Nellie chatted up Mutton Chop #1 briefly.
Look at that smug little face over making some hotdogs. She's so cute!
It's rough. It's real rough for a founder.
I know a lot of people talk about how EA went back to a cartoony look for the Sims 4. I personally don't care. This game is very pretty.
That booty tho...
What's this?! It's Nellie's first day at her job as a scientist!
I'm so excited about this new expansion!
She made a thing! I don't remember what it's called or if it even does anything but she made it!
Look at all this girl power. Every scientist there was a chick!
There's a lot of different things to do around the science facility thingy.
Once she gets back from work, Nellie gets a chance to work on her Aspiration by playing some vidya games!
It's growing... Nellie now has her very own toilet!
Ducks. :3
I'm proud to introduce you to the newest member of the family. This freeze ray was hand made by Nellie herself. She has affectionately named him Blasty.
Let's take a look at Blasty in action, shall we?
Step One: Approach the target in a non threatening manner.
Step Two: Ask said target if they have any last words.
Step Three: Point Blasty at the target and pull the trigger!
Step Four: Feel accomplished.
(Optional) Step Five: Eventually chisel the target free from freeze.
Frog. :3
This is what happens when you let your Sims hygiene bar bottom out in the Sims 4. She looks like she's been through the apocalypse.
Another day at work playing with all the doodads and thingymajiggers.
Well hello pretty mutton chop free lady!
Yes, yes! Straight into our clutches.
Ejoy this ~artistic~ shot of Nellie eating grilled cheese.
Nellie testing out some of her concoctions. This one just made her super horny.
And playing with Blasty some more. Not only can Blasty freeze people, he can change objects too! (He changed this chair into some other sort of stool or something.)
If Nellie wasn't good and this chick wasn't evil, she'd probably be Nellie's baby mama.
Invention number 3! It's a hover lamp thingy! It's kinda pretty. :3
I gave her a make over. I think her name was Ashlyn? Spoiler: She wasn't around long enough for me to commit even her name to my brain.
Aaaaand she was pretty useless. Couldn't even make some scrambled eggs!
Isn't Nellie great? I seriously love her.
Let me set up this next scene for you. Nellie's little girlfriend hates children. Which is extremely unfortunate for a legacy spouse. So this is Nellie telling Ashlyn(?) that she's expecting.
Ashlyn: Are you trying to ruin my life?! You got pregnant on purpose! Bitch.
Nellie: Oh, really now? If that's how she feels about it...
Nellie: Look, this really isn't working for me anymore. It's definitely you, not me. Because I'm awesome.
Ashlyn: What? You're seriously breaking up with me?! B-but...
Nellie: Bye Felicia. :D
Ashlyn: -heartbroken-
Aaaand end scene!
Pregnancy is not kind to Nellie. Poor girl.
The next day I had Nellie use a vacation day to find another more permanent and less jerky spouse. She called over this woman she'd met previously at the park. Her name is Summer Holiday. See how I committed her to my brain? It's a good sign!
Couple hours later and Summer was all moved in and made over!
Her traits are: Active, Outgoing, Cheerful, and Gregarious. She has the Friend of the World Popularity Aspiration.
And thus we come to the end of our very first look into the Tolbert Legacy, Sims 4 editions. :D
